LABA DOM Search Committee Announcement

The LABA DOM Search Committee is now accepting resumes for the Director of Missions position. LABA serves over 100 diverse, growing churches across West Texas and beyond, partnering together to make a Kingdom impact. We are prayerfully seeking the man God has called to help lead and serve our association with vision and faithfulness.

A Summary of Preferred Attributes will include:

· Provide visionary leadership to guide the overall ministry of the association.

· Champion and help fulfill the strategic ministry objectives of the association.

· Build strong relationships with all member churches, offering support and encouragement.

· Serve as a resource and mentor to the ministry staffs of member churches.

· Be a compelling and consistent missional voice, encouraging evangelistic outreach.

· Serve as a mission strategist, helping churches engage effectively in their communities.

· Demonstrate wisdom and discernment in guiding churches through matters of health, conflict, and revitalization.

· Lead and support the associational staff, fostering unity and effectiveness.

· Collaborate intentionally with associational teams and administrative leadership.

· Provide leadership in fostering unity among churches and pastors.

Preferred Requirements include:

· A bachelor’s degree is required; a master’s degree and/or doctorate in a related field is preferred.

· A minimum of 10 years experience serving in a Southern Baptist church, a State Convention, or association.

· Ability to collaborate effectively with both the BGCT and SBTC state conventions.

· Proven ability to communicate clearly, effectively, and graciously in various settings.
